I’m at a loss for words about this tragedy Janine. My heart is so heavy for Sarah and the kids, the team, and you, too. Why God? He makes no mistakes, and yet I scramble for understanding when a little one like this is taken. My prayers and thoughts are with you all over there. I had hoped to meet this young girl, but now it’ll have to be in Heaven.

I knew God would use this tragedy for His glory. That He would be seen in this. My dear friend Chariti and I fasted and prayed for the day which would have been the night time during the funeral till their dawn. I am so glad to hear how God showed up and the Holy Spirit sang through the voice of this precious child and her mother. God is so wonderful. What a moving story of His grace and goodness. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness.

When I first read the news about this heart breaking tragedy, my heart went immediately to God’s promise to bring beauty from the ashes. I had no idea how He would do it, my only confidence was that He is ALWAYS faithful to His promises.

But as I have watched His story unfold, beauty truly has risen from the ashes… The beauty of His love, His grace, His mercy and His unfathomable peace! Thank you so much for writing this last post. God has truly been glorified through it all!
